About the Director and Ministry

I had a desire to start a ministry that would specifically target teens and families.  I wanted a center where teens were loved and accepted for who they are, not for what they do, wear, drive or accomplish. I wanted a social service agency that incorporated spiritual truths in all of its services and programs.  My desire is to be able to partner with other area churches, social service agencies and schools to better meet the needs of individuals and families in this area. Inside Out Ministries has been a work in progress as I continue to work another job while I develop this ministry.  As a social worker I have spent time working as a case manager and therapist for children in the foster care system at residential facilities and at social service agencies. I am also a licensed foster parent.

On a personal note, I have been married for over 30 years and have two adult daughters and a teenage son and daughter. I am originally from California and came to Illinois via North Carolina and have been here for over 10 years.

Board Certified Biblical Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors
Therapist with Family and Child Treatment Services in Belleville
